Shortly after our Classic last year, our club lost one of our most loyal members. Steve Flener was one of the founders of our club in the Aberdeen Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, and dearly loved to fish, no matter the species. Fittingly, his final tournament with the club was our 25th anniversary tournament, held last year in September. The club is ever grateful for the contributions he made through the years.

Fish are after shad, and since shad are constantly moving, so are the bass. Fall is notorious for being feast or famine. The best way to find these active bass is to use search baits, moving quickly, and when you find them set up shop on them. Here's a video talking about great search baits for fall bass.
